It’s a half Husky, half Corgi, guys.

JESUS CHRIST IT’S SO CUTE I WANT FIFTY!!!!!!!!!!!!!

OMG WHAT EVEN!?!

WHAT IS THIS MY TWO FAVORITE DOGS AS ONE IOAJSDIOAJSD

It’s a mutt.
Yes, it’s cute, but it’s not something, y’know, to get all that worked up over.
Eh, as someone who’s done a lot of work in animal shelters and with rescues, seeing people ‘squee’ over what amounts to a mutt like it’s some sort of super desirable thing makes me /facepalm.
Shelters are FULL of mutts, which is all designer breeds (cockapoo, chi-poo, any -poo or -doodle dog, puggle, pomchi, cavachon, teddy bear puppies, or whatever names you want to give these dogs) are: Mixed breeds.
Mutts.
I always get this twinge of misplaced irritation when pictures like this make rounds, as I know damn well someone will probably go looking for an irresponsible breeder (as responsible breeders don’t engage in ‘designer’ breeding) of the particular type of mutt pictured.
You want a mutt?
Get your ass down to a shelter or rescue, and have at it. A good majority of dogs in shelters are mutts.
If a shelter/rescue won’t let you adopt, figure out why and fix the issue(s) preventing them from wanting to adopt to you, and don’t just run off to a backyard breeder.

»> It is pretty cute, though. I say this as an owner of a well-bred Pembroke Welsh Corgi with a certified pedigree. Best dog I’ve ever had so of course anything resembling a Corgi is adorable to me =>.
Mixed breed or not, though, I do agree that there are far too many animals who need homes in shelters. Before I got Achilles the first place I looked was in rescue shelters and even a Corgi rescue that was local to Portland. Unfortunately I couldn’t get one from them because they either get rescued or the people from the rescue don’t like people under the age of 30-40 to adopt their animals because we’re obviously too young to be responsible.
I ended up getting mine from a breeder because it was an ‘accidental’ litter and they needed homes. Plus they were selling him at a ridiculously low price (for a Corgi) WITH all his papers, shots, and hip dysplasia checks verified at one of the best vets in the state. It was a great deal and he’s by far the best animal I’ve ever cared for. =)
